Dancing Queen

Discovery Film Festival

Happily enjoying small-town life, 12-year-old Mina has loving parents, a free-spirited and devoted grandmother and best friend Markus always by her side. What more could she possibly want? But when a famous hip-hop dancer starts at her school and plans to set up a new dance crew to take part in a national competition, Mina’s world turns upside down. With her head well and truly turned by the handsome E.D. Win, she signs up for an audition and plans her best moves to impress her new crush. One small problem: Mina can’t dance. But with the help of her grandmother (once a dancer herself) and the ever-faithful Markus, can she attract E.D. Win’s attention, get herself into the spotlight and maybe even win the competition?
