MOVIEMAKERS: DISCOVERY YOUTH SCREEN PROJECT AWARD
Send us your moving image projects on DVD today. We want group and individual entries by young film makers aged up to 19. Maximum duration to be 15mins. Films to have been completed after January 2007. The DISCOVERY YOUTH SCREEN PROJECT AWARD for the audience favourite screened on Sun 2 Nov is £250.

FROM BEHIND THE SOFA MAKE A SCARY MOVIE
This brilliant two day workshop run by film making experts Dfie foe will teach you tricks and techniques to make scary movies. Great for small groups of up to four to work together on a short Halloween theme movie over two days. Ideal for family groups or groups of friends. All the finished films will get a special screening as part of the Halloween celebration events at DCA.

MAKE A MOVIE: ONE MINUTE SCI-FI CHALLENGE
Discovery One Minute Sci-fi challenge has been designed to give young film fanatics a fantastic opportunity to make films for the Discovery Festival programme. The judge's favourite will be screened in front of the opening film TERRA for our festival guests. This four day workshop led by professional film makers Dfie foe is for young people aged 14 to 19.

MOVIEMAKERS: TEEN SCREEN INDUSTRY EVENT
Discovery Festival is offering young film makers a brilliant opportunity to have a totally unique film festival experience and meet with industry professionals (director/producer, actor, sound design, games design) through a packed programme of events, taster sessions and workshops. Participants will have access to kit and professional mentoring to record and broadcast their experiences on the web. Free and open to individuals and film making groups/classes.
