Discovery Youth Screen Award 2009

The Discovery Youth Screen Award is presented every year to the best film made in Scotland by filmmakers under 18. We will be screening 7 films from the shortlist which has been selected by the Youth Jury. The winner will be selected by a public vote at the screening on Sunday 1st Nov.

The shortlisted films are:

• Bacon Boy  by SKAMM                                       
• The Bride of Kilbraughton by Strangeboat
• Saved to Memory by VOMO
• Backfire by Lensheads
• Seaweed by Lensheads
• The Thing Movietrailer by macrobert young filmmakers

Congratulations to all who have been shortlisted!

Join us at this the DCA Cinema on Sunday 1st at 4pm to watch the films and vote for the winner.

This event is organised in conjunction with the mPower project.

This event has been given an age recommendation of 15+ due to the content of some of the films.
