Afghan Star Resource

Hot Docs, one of the worlds best international film festivals based in Toronto, Canada, has produced a teaching resource for secondary pupils to accompany the award winning documentary Afghan Star.  These resources were produced for Canadian teachers,  however you will hopefully find some relevant aspects in the areas of modern studies and media literacy. There are also plenty links provided for further research for pupils, plus information about using documentary in schools, and how media literacy is taught in the US and Canada - which you may find interesting.
