The shortlist for the Discovery Youth Screen Award 2009 has now been selected by the Youth Jury.

The shortlisted films are:

• Binn Bunny Goes Green   by Burntisland PS
• Bacon Boy  by SKAMM                                       
• The Bride of Kilbraughton by Strangeboat
• Saved to Memory by VOMO
• Backfire by Lensheads
• Seaweed  by Lensheads
• The Thing Movietrailer  by macrobert young filmmakers

The Discovery Youth Screen Award is presented every year to the best film made in Scotland by filmmakers under 18.

 The winner will be selected by a public vote at a screening of the nominated films on Sunday 1st Novevmber at 4pm at DCA.

This event is organised in conjunction with the mPower project.

This event has been given an age recommendation of 15+ due to the content of some of the films.
