ROBBIE SHEEHAN and MARTIN DUFFYfor Discovery’s first Teen Screen event

Teen Screen Weekend is the Discovery Festival’s brand new event for young people enthusiastic about film. The guests and workshops (Sat Nov 1 and Sun Nov 2) will include a rare opportunity to meet talented young Irish actor Robbie Sheehan, the 20 year old star of Discovery’s closing film ‘Summer of the Flying Saucer’ and Martin Duffy, the film’s Irish writer director, now living in Berlin.

Martin will be hosting a masterclass event with Robbie, to talk about directing actors. The festival team are very excited that both Martin and Robbie will be special guests of the festival and especially pleased that they are also enthusiastic to bring their expertise from the Film and TV industry to inspire others. Robbie, who has made many TV appearances despite his youth, will be arriving fresh from filming ‘Cherrybomb’ in Northern Ireland with Rupert Grint of Harry Potter fame.
